A low cost rent dispute resolution service for the licensed industry in respect of cyclical rent reviews and agreement renewals.

Welcome To PIRRS

The Pubs Independent Rent Review Scheme (PIRRS) offers an accessible, independent, low cost rent review resolution service for pub tenants and lessees whose companies are signatories to the England & Wales Tenanted & Leased Code of Practice (1-499 pubs) and the Scotland Code of Practice.

This low-cost resolution service is also available to tenants or lessees of pubs belonging to companies governed by The Pubs Code 2016 who wish to remain tied and negotiate the tied rent.

Who We Are

PIRRS has become well established and now comes under the governance of the PGB (the Pub Governing Body), provided by six of the industry’s leading associations representing both tenants and landlords - British Beer and Pub Association (BBPA), the British Institute of Innkeeping (BII), the Federation of Licensed Victuallers Association (FLVA), the Guild of Master Victuallers (GMV), The Licensee Association and UK Hospitality (UKH).

The PGB is chaired by James Anderson.
